Nathan's reaction: It was good. Tasted sweet. Shorty gives it two paws up!

Nicole's reaction: Liked it a lot better than last week. Tastes more full-bodies, plus I dig more room-temp kind of beers (as long as they are of decent quality).

Newcastle Brown Ale--outta a can.

Nathan's reaction: Tastes like Newcastle, out of a can.

Nicole's reaction: The canned taste ruins the refreshing Newcastle taste, but tastes great once you pour it into a nice frozen beer mug. We only bought these because we saw them in Pineapple Express and I couldn't believe they made Newcastle in a can. I believe I turned to Nathan and said, "They make Newcastle in a can? What's the point?"

St Feuillien- Triple Triple (Triple Abbey Ale)

Nicole's reaction: Glue-riffic. Not very good. Definitely not as good as the other St. Feuillien we had last week.

Nathan's reaction: It was okay, nothing special.



Anchor- Christmas [and Happy New Year]Ale (2005)

Nicole's reaction: Not that impressive; not one of their best Christmas ales. Also not that fresh of a brew (as its from 2005).



Stella Artois- Lager

Nathan's reaction: I don't really recall. Nicole responds, "Haven't you had that beer many times?" Nathan shrugs.

Nicole's reaction: STELLLLAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! Not a bad light beer. Pretty enjoyable with any kind of meal.

Firestone- Double Barrel Ale

Nicole's reaction: I think it was okay. Would like to try some different Firestone brews. This one was too Pale Ale. Pale Ale's are probably my least favorite of all beers.

Nicole's reaction: Not bad for an old ass beer (I've had these for like 3-4 years. Really light beer outta a can... what do you think it tastes like?

St.-Feuillien; Brune Abbey Ale: Goes well with Phở

St.-Feuillien: Brune Abbey Ale.

What the bottle says: "St-Feuillien, a unique top-fermenting ale, has been brewed by the Friart family since 1873, respecting old traditions. This natural ale undergoes two fermentations. Full of flavor, mellow, St-Feuillien is highly recommended for gourmet taste."

Nicole's reaction: Initially thought it tasted like applesauce. Enjoyed the taste and got a pretty quick buzz considering Nate and I split it. I'm a bit biased towards Belgian beers because they rule so much. Not a personal favorite but not a chore to drink either.

Nathan's reaction: It was okay. It didn't have too much flavor, but it went down easily. "That's what she said." On a scale of 1 to 10 I give it a 6.
